This is a wonderful book for both poets and poetry lovers. The first section of this book is The Poetry Handbook with different examples, but then it goes further and deeper. So if you‘ve already read that one, skip the first section of this. If not, just get this one and save yourself some time. This one also have a mini anthology of poetry in the back, so you really get a lot of poetry love with this book.

This is my next stop. The imagery section of the last book gave me some inspiration, so work has begun on my anti-masterpiece (I‘m not expecting it to end well, but it‘s an idea at least). Starting on this book while I continue to work on it.

Brilliant manual for metrical poetry. Learned some of this in high school, but it‘s always good to have a refresher. Plus she includes a few classics in the back for the readers perusal. 5 out of 5 on GR
