This podcast!
It‘s a true crime case set in Ireland and it‘s gorgeous. The narrators, the interviews, the twists, the tempo. I don‘t know yet where it‘s going but I am loving it!

Have you listened to it @Cathythoughts ? Isn‘t this near where you live?
Then you‘ll probably know the story but nevertheless it is worth listening to it if you haven‘t already!

Cathythoughts Thanks Barbara , I do know the story ... only too well , it has received so much attention here over the years. I may listen sometime too 👍🏻 Thankyou for thinking of me X 4y
BarbaraBB @Cathythoughts It sounds like fiction to me. Very realistic fiction. Your comment makes it real suddenly. Apart from this horrible event, the Ireland described sounds marvelous. ❤️ 3y

A really interesting audiobook/podcast from audible. The story is interesting and the characters compelling but in it‘s attempt to be even-handed it comes off a little anemic.

Pickpick

Interesting true crime mystery of a woman murdered in Ireland days before Christmas. Investigative journalists research the case 20 years later. A prime suspect is discussed and interviewed. So many twists and turns. Such a sad story. My heart goes out to the victim and her family. #MountTBR

I was hoping for the Irish version of Serial and this just didn't deliver. There was a lot of coverage about the original murder, accusations, and suspects. I thought the more interesting bit, Ian Bailey finally facing trial, received far less coverage. Maybe they'll release a followup covering the trial? I would still listen to a sequel reviewing the modern events of this case even though I didn't quite enjoy this synopsis of the initial events.
