I used to read every book to the end no matter how bad (An Apple for Zoe) but I did the math and I won‘t live long enough to read every book on my #TBR 😊so I‘m now okay with bailing. I may revisit a book later (Rich People Problems) and enjoy it. Or, I will skim through and then read the last 3 chapters . There‘re too many good books waiting for you to waste time on ones that you don‘t like. Reading for pleasure should be fun.

LiseWorks I always read the whole book no matter what. That way I can say I read it even if it's bad 2y
lirahlu Life is too short to read bad books. I used to suffer through it but I got sick 4 years ago and refuse to waste my time on anything that does not bring me joy. 2y
TheAromaofBooks I'm with you on this - I used to stick it out no matter what, but then realized I there are so many books out there that I am going to love but may not have time for - why stick with the ones I hate? Some classics or books I think are important to read I will still push through (currently Jane Eyre lol), but on the whole I have gotten MUCH better at bailing and not feeling like a failure for doing so! 2y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I get sad thinking I‘ll never read ALL my books, but I keep buying more!! 🤣 2y
Avanders Ooh I sooo agree with this sentiment and have such a hard time with execution! Working on it.. 😜 2y
