A wonderfully written fantasy set in the west of Ireland which tells of the coming of the Great Queen who is bent on bringing destruction to the world. Only Pidge and Brigit can stop her and their task seems impossible as they're constantly trailed by the queen's hounds. But they're aided in their quest by a host of willing helpers - a glorious array of unforgettable characters. * This book has been in print continuously for well over 15 years and has proved itself as one of the best-sellers on our list * A fresh new look for the next generation of readers * Has sold all over the world, and has been translated into many different languages, making it an internationally acclaimed book

Deifio Great choices! 3y
Moonprismpower Oooh. I haven‘t read any of these. I‘d say I read urban fantasy and sci-fi and my favorites are Ender‘s Game and Dark Matter. 3y

Avanders 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 happy to see some books on here that I own.... and now I have to go add some more to my list 😁😁😁 3y
Pogue @iread2much I reread that one, Moonheart and the Caverns of Socrates every few years. 3y
Pogue @Deifio thank you 3y
Pogue @Moonprismpower look at Moonheart and Caverns of Socrates. de Lint wrote urban fantasy before it was urban fantasy. CoS is about VR and something like D&D. The first 5 chapters are technical explaining the set up. 3y
Pogue @Avanders let me know what ones you add! 3y
