An enjoyable dual timeline read. I liked the characters and the story but I think maybe the ending was a little rushed. 4⭐️

I'm posting one book per day from the ever growing unread stacks in my personal library. No description or explanation, just books I own and plan to read. #tbr

I just finished reading, and I wanted to write my honest review while it's still fresh in my mind. I have mixed feelings about this book. Being an Army Wife myself, I don't understand infidelity. This book seems to attempt to normalize and justify it. It's very well written, and historically accurate. However, I am a little disappointed in the contents of the story. I would recommend this story to WWII history buffs.

Yay for new books! Had a great date night with my amazing husband. I miss Washington and all of the amazing little cafes, and little bookstores but Books-a-Million will do for now 📖

This is a good solid book. It follows a two families from 1932 to 1990. It is about love found lost and found again and the perils of the lies we tell. It is rich evocative read abs at times spellbinding

This one was a little too heavy on the dramatic romance and a little too light on the historical details for me to love it. However, I'm always impressed with this author's ability to sweep me away to the beautiful locations her characters inhabit, and this was no different for this story. 🌟🌟🌟
