There were some really interesting stories in this novel just not enough to make up for the not so interesting one.

It is really hard to rate this novel. There is not a likeable character in the bunch. I have never read a book with so many disgusting characters. That being said it is not a bad read, it shows how quickly a neighborhood dispute can get out of hand. If you don't mind reading books with unlikeable character then this may well be for you.

I picked this book up thinking it was a Dirk Pitt novel, I was disappointed when I realised it wasn't. I kept reading and I'm so glad I did. Isaac Bell is a wonderful character and this novel was no stop action. I'll be reading more Isaac Bell stories.

The second book in the Michael Bennett series and what a cracker it is. The novel moves along at a relatively face pace and though the plot is a little out there it is still within the realm of being believable. These books are a new favorite for me.

i didn't enjoy the Cruel Prince at all. Decided to read this books as a friend told me it was so much better than the first novel. I am happy to write that this book is so much better than the first. There is far more character development in this novel and thankfully the characters are much more likable. I am looking forward to reading the third novel.

I really enjoyed this novel. There is very little known about France Gorges and Borman manages to bring her to life in this novel. The story is compelling as are the characters. I am glad there are more novels in the wonderful series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Bennett is a compelling character and his family drama just adds to the appeal. This was a great introduction to the Michael Bennett series . If all of the books are as good as this one then this whole series will be a winner.

Lindsay Boxer finds herself in the middle of two mysteries in this novel. The women in these novels are stong, independent and sasey all without being pains in the butts, something that most writers have a hard time delivering. I love these novels.

I love the dark hunters series. This novel outlines Talon's story and I have to say it was an amazing story. The level of detail we receive on Talon's back story is incredible, and the reason he decided to give up his soul is totally believable. I love the use of Gods that we are all familiar with is in my opinion a stroke of genius. Make no mistake these novels have a large romance component but they are more than romance novels.

Hammer is becoming one of my must read authors. In this follow up to Scrublands, Martin Scarsden once again finds in himself at the center of a murder investigation, and once again Mandy is chief suspect. In this book we get more of an insight into Martin's previous life and a glimpse of a possible future. This is a long book but it is well worth the read. I did not see th e ending coming.
