Yes!!!! I‘ve found my new catch phrase. “Hasn‘t time” as in “I hasn‘t time for your shit today.” “Sorry, hasn‘t time. Gotta run.” “Oop, no thank you, hasn‘t time.” 🤩

This author is an auto read for me. I‘ll snatch up everything she writes. Masterful story construction and interesting, multilayered characters keep the story moving at a great pace. This book did not disappoint.

I may have to add Paula Daly‘s entire backlist to my TBR. This is the second title by this author that I‘ve loved. It‘s building to what I hope is a great ending.

Carrie is currently serving time in prison for the stabbing murder of her husband's mistress Ella. Tess is investigating the murder as Carrie doesn't seem to her to be the type of wife who would stab someone to death. Tess is also running from secrets in her own past which may end up catching up with her as she delves deeper into this case. An edge of the seat read that had me captivated until the very end. Thanks to #netgalley for the ARC

This book didn't quite grab me at the start & I thought I might bail. But I remembered @Lel2403 's review & told myself to hang on for a bit. All of a sudden it changed in scope; the characters up-ended my expectations & the legal & research aspects of the book's Innocence Project UK became compelling. Complex & well-drawn female characters plus a big bonus: it was refreshingly serious & not ludicrous in the manner of certain thrillers. #netgalley

Here‘s #SomethingNew due out next week that thanks to #NetGalley I got an opportunity to preview! It‘s sort of an after-conviction procedural that weaves together character depth and plot into an exciting read that quickly becomes hard to put down! #SelfImprovementSept

I loved this thriller, with believable, likeable and also really unlikeable characters, Pete is just a revolting excuse for a human. All credit to Paula Daly‘s incredibly creative, compelling writing with its gasp inducing ending….I honestly read this in one sitting, I just couldn‘t put it down, I had to know!!!…brilliant.
