Slajaunie Why is summer your favorite? 6y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookFrog I love the ocean!! I used to boogie board a lot! I broke my hip 3 years ago, so I haven‘t in recent years, but I still love the season!! 6y

Slajaunie Vegan beach lover here! 🤗 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookFrog yahoooooo!!🌞😎🏖 (edited) 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookFrog question, I‘m the food police, apparently, but how can you be vegan if you had fried shrimp for lunch? 5y
Slajaunie Not real shrimp, vegan shrimp. Don‘t ask me how they make it but it is delicious! @JanuarieTimewalker13 (edited) 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @bookfrog. Ohhhh Hahahaha!! 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @bookfrog where oh where can I find that? And I‘ve had vegan crab cakes...which were amazing!! They were made out of hearts of palm!! I swore I was going to make them, even bought old bay seasoning, and, alas, never did I make a one! Best intentions, but laziness won out. 5y
Slajaunie A little place in Denham Springs near my daughter. 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookFrog Have you ever had Vegan Treats‘ cannolis? They are not to be missed if you are on east coast!! They‘re actually in Bethlehem, Pa, I so want to road trip there! 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookFrog Oooh, you‘re in La. cool. I‘ve only been to NOLA. (edited) 5y
Slajaunie Also, Vegan Foodhouse in Dallas and Breads on Oak in New Orleans are fabulous if you ever go to those two cities. @JanuarieTimewalker13 5y
Slajaunie No! If I make it up that way I will have to try them! @JanuarieTimewalker13 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookFrog great!! Thanks!! If you‘re ever up North, jersey or NY, we have a plethora of great vegan spots...I recently tried By Chloe in Rock Center and it was great!!! There‘s so many great places in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Down here, at Jersey Shore, we have Seed to Sprout, Kaya‘s Kitchen, Good Karma Cafe...all good 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @catiewithac I should‘ve included you in above conversations! We‘re talking yummy vegan places! So look above👆🏽😊 (edited) 5y
Slajaunie They are hard to find around here! @JanuarieTimewalker13 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookFrog you must do a lot of cooking, which is going to happen to me soon, when I move to Long Island...they don‘t have many options, but slowly getting better 5y
Slajaunie We do when we have time. My husband makes guacamole, salsa, and spaghetti sauce by the truck load for times we don‘t cook. @JanuarieTimewalker13 (edited) 5y
Slajaunie Also red beans and rice! @JanuarieTimewalker13 5y
Slajaunie Our local market, Rouses has some vegan grocery options. Live some veganaise!!! @JanuarieTimewalker13 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookFrog I do too. Today I actually mixed veganese with ketchup and sriracha to make a nice sauce for my chik‘n sliders. I‘ve become too lazy. I really have to get back to cooking! I used to make tomato sauce all the time, but then I found Jar Goods Classic Red at WF and I don‘t even make my own tomato sauce anymore!! Cooking for one is sometimes problematic and not really motivating. 5y
Slajaunie I‘m lucky because my husband is the cook. I like to make a salad and use Veganaise as the dressing. I put some smothered potatoes in it as well. @JanuarieTimewalker13 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookFrog you are lucky!!! That‘s great!! And yum on the salad! 5y
