The 4th and final story in this analogy is A Christmas Charade by Kathryn Smith. Garrett Maxwell is an English spy who has been in a French prison for almost a month. That is until a mysterious lady rescues him. Turns out she is a spy also and returns him to England on her ship. But not before they have a romantic interlude. ⬇️

TheSpineView Maxwell is taken by her and wants to meet the next day. She agrees then never shows up. He is distraught and tries to find her for months. He assumes the worst that she has died while serving as a spy. Then he runs into her at Christmas at his sister's house of all places. Yet he is now engaged. 5y

TheSpineView This story was not as good as the others. It was just not believable given the historical setting. 3⭐ 5y

All she wants is a one night stand this should be tight up Stephen's alley. Instead she mistakenly kiss his twin brother Maxwell.⬇️

Everyone depends on Adrian the IT guru. So it is surprising when one morning he asks Samantha for help with his wardrobe because he is totally color blind.⬇️

TheSpineView One thing leads to another in this this steamy season romance. While I liked there is nothing original here. 4⭐ but only because I could relate to the characters. 5y

This is an anthology of 4 steamy Christmas short stories. The first story Santy Baby by Patricia Ryan is about a PI, Jack O'Leary, whose client has hired him to seduce away her husband's lover. The price to do the job is 50K. Despite reservations how can you turn down that kind of money?

TheSpineView Katherine Peale was so not what he was expecting and you can imagine where that leads. Cute story and little predictable but I liked it. 4⭐ 5y
