Four years ago today "defenestration" was an answer at trivia. Thank you David Eddings for your bizzare obsession with this word, and thank you @inwhichHeikereadsharder for introducing me to him. ❤

heikemarie It also made the defenestration of Prague seem way more important to me than it actually was 😬 I love that this was a thing!! 7y

I had a lot of different ideas for sidekicks rattling around my brain today! Finally, I thought of Sparhawk, but which companion? I think anyone who's read the Elenium would agree that Kurik or Kalten were great sidekicks, but I chose Sparhawk's horse, Faran as the #bestsidekick #booktober

Honestly, I should just take a photo of my entire library for this challenge! I read mostly fantasy & sci-fi so I have a tonne of books that are #FullOfAdventure! Finally, I decided on David Eddings & Fritz Leiber. The adventures of Fafhrd & the Gray Mouser are some of the classic swords & sorcery tales that inspired the creators of D&D. And I'm a big fan of Eddings' epic Belgariad, Mallorean, Elenium, & Tamuli! #booktober
