Having recently quit my job one of my goals for myself is to start making my way through my mountains of manga and books I‘ve acquired the last two years at the thrift shop. This is a pretty generic manga storyline but it‘s still pretty cute and I‘ll be keeping an eye out for the rest of the series in the future to see how it‘ll play out, even if I already have a pretty good idea on how that is.

This first volume was a lot dodgier than I remembered. Like, the main character‘s love coach tells her to quit maintaining the muscles she built up playing softball. That is CRAP ADVICE, dude. #comicthon
I had to take a little break from #comicthon so I could pick up and assemble my BRAND NEW READING CHAIR! I‘ve been trying to buy one ever since I got my tax return, but first Ikea was closed and then it was well-nigh impossible to place a curbside pickup order. I finally managed it by logging on at frickin midnight, and now I‘ve got a comfy place to read.
I finished HAWKMAN; time for some manga! I thrifted the first three vols of HIGH SCHOOL DEBUT a while back, liked them, and couldn‘t find any more. My library has since bought the omnibus editions, so I borrowed them right before the closure and now aim to catch up. Hopefully I‘m in the right mood for contemporary shōjo.
