Having fun at the 30th Guadalajara International Book Fair where the guest of honor is Mario Vargas Llosa!! Looking forward to reading his novel "The dream of the Celt"
#day2 of #booktober and it turns out I've read way too few books from South America. But I did read the remarkable story of Roger Casement's life. Executed as one of the leaders of Ireland's 1916 Rising, Casement spent decades of his life fighting for social justice in The Congo and Amazonia where he uncovered atrocities committed in the name of progress. Amazing read #bookssetinsamerica
