pickDon‘t Call the Wolf is a retelling of the Glass Mountain, and I thought it was a very imaginative retelling. I adored the writing style, the two main characters, the romance, the mythological monsters, and the side characters. The only thing I didn‘t love was where Ross decided Ren ended up in the epilogue. I didn‘t think it matched her character super well. Otherwise, 5 ⭐️‘s and a new favorite!
Couldn‘t have chosen a better book for this song…the cover ironically also has kind of an 80s Duran Duran vibe😂
I love to dig into the underground side of books. There‘s so much beautiful art and stories that unfortunately are left undiscovered. We should open up to these unpopular stories and give undiscovered authors a chance rather than always reading what‘s hyped up the most. We can encounter something beautiful 😍

pickSuch a powerful and loving tale of Polish Folklore stories entwined in the powerful roots of a tree cursed in the forest of monsters. A brave wolf lord and a daring queen set out to destroy the dragon. The only thing to save the world. I loved the spirit and meaning the words described on how to save two souls in a world of chaos.

This was more romance than action which isn't what I was expecting or TOTALLY wanting (which caused my brain to drift off a few times) but I actually enjoyed this. The main character and the romantic interest were definitely likable characters and I enjoyed their backstories.
