This book looked interesting, and I picked it up for Samuel (almost 9). But... I'm totally reading it first.

TubaSheila Ooooh there was a plot twist right before the end, and a cliffhanger! Going to the library for the sequel tomorrow. 6y

In the mood for something light? This may fit the bill. Basic fantasy. Series starter kit. I started reading this a long while back but gradually lost interest and eventually set it down. I needed something floofier after my last book so decided to pick up right where I left off. The ending was infuriating. I'll probably read the next book. 🙃

Nafiza I felt the same way about this! 7y
diovival @Nafiza Those cliffhanger endings are evil. I feel both underwhelmed and still curious about what will happen to the characters. 7y
Nafiza I was discussong with a friend how cliffies make me unwilling to continue a series while a completed arc which is enjoyable makes me want to read the next book. It is difficult to sustain suspense when the next book is coming out a year later. Ppl are likely to lose interest. 7y

Great story, great characters. I love the fact the Una was pulled into a book and ended up in the land of Story - where all the characters live. Cliffhanger ending! 🙃
