so-soI am VERY annoyed with this book. The concept is great, and the characters are interesting and diverse, but it isn‘t a complete book. Apparently I have once again fallen for the ploy of buying what‘s actually a third of a book and getting sucked into it so that I end up having to get the other two to finish the story!!
pick2021 no.6 - Overall, if you are looking for a cosy mystery I would recommend this book. The characters were likable and there was a lot more diversity then I often find in this type of book. The ending was a little abrupt, I know that want you to but the next book but Jeez! But then, am I going to read the next one to find out what‘s going on... yep! Also as this one has a mustache on the cover I‘m going to use it for #Booked2021
I‘ve just started reading this, only a couple of chapters in but appreciating that one of the main characters has autism but is already being developed into much more then just that part of himself. So often autism is portrayed stereotypically and one dimensionally in fiction. As the mother of neurodiverse child I know there is nothing one dimensional about ASC!
