A little better than so-so. Not my favorite installment butb it was nice to have the gang back together! Kyle learns a bit about empathy and what really drives Charles Chiltington's jerkiness and jerkocity. We also learn that reading outside your comfort zone is good for you! Lol #Coronapocalypse
Charles 😤 Flipping 😡 CHILTINGTON!!!
I hate that kid...
I like that there is a message to each of the books in this series, but it is subtle. This one is empathy.
I really enjoy this middle grade series. It‘s funny and cones from such an obvious place of love for books, libraries and learning! Listened to about half and then read the book.
Done! Another good installment in the Lemoncello series from Chris Grabenstein, although I found the ending abrupt. I assume there will be more in the series.
Nine down for #14books14weeks also.
I think at some point I might tackle the book lists in these books for a reading challenge.
I had a lunch date with a friend on Saturday. She got hung up and rushed in, apologizing profusely. She started with, “I‘m so glad you had a book!” Honey, I ALWAYS have a book! And I got five chapters into this one in the meantime.

I. Am. So. Excited! This came out on May 7th but I couldn‘t get to my local bookshop until yesterday — it‘s 40 minutes away. Yes, I could have picked it up on release day at B&N but some books are worth waiting for when it means supporting the independents.
Read book 1 to my daughter & husband five years ago — she was in K, it was the 1 school/1 book choice. Now she‘s read many titles mentioned in book 1. I hope she‘ll give it a reread. #lgpog
Amazing!!! Definitely my second favorite behind the first book in the series. Must read!!!

I may be almost 50 years old but I do love this series
