A nice enough novella, and although I finished it after midnight I‘m still calling it my last finish of 2020. Totals to come tomorrow.

It bothers me that Nora gets herself into her corset, and THEN her stockings and boots. I‘m fairly certain that wouldn‘t work.

thebacklistbook Hmmm... The stockings and stepping into the dress maybe, the boots unlikely. Unless she has a very modern corset indeed. 3y

Oh, this was a wonderfully cute read. A fun quick read where you also get to see some of the Spindle Cove peps. I especially loved the mission that the men went on. #romantsy

Great ending to my day - read the entire novella before bedtime. Fun and entertaining - just what I needed.

Nora is stuck on a trip with the man who let her down years ago. The trip to Spindle Cove might end with the future she dreamed of or the same ending as before.

I got this as a free download from Smart Bitches, Trashy Books and Avon Books's RWA17 Download Extravaganza.

(Spoilers follow!)

I haven't read any other books in the series, so maybe a novella wasn't the best entry point for me. I liked the "trapped together" plot, but the fact that Dashwood lied to orchestrate it kinda put me off. I am looking into trying a full book in the series sometime though!

This was a great little novella, it had me laughing throughout and enjoying the quirky Miss. Browning. Definitely a novella worth reading!

I've decided that if being a British Literature professor doesn't pan out, I'm going to plead with someone to make me a romance cover model. Those dresses....and the men....I honestly don't know if I can think of a better job......😂😍#romantsy

EloisaJames I hate to tell you this, but I've had many a cover where the first shots have a model in a plain dress and next draft she's wearing a lush creation. Stick with prof--it's worked out really well for me! 7y
