Doctor Who: In the Blood
Doctor Who: In the Blood | Jenny T Colgan

All over the world, people are 'ghosting' each other on social media. Dropping their friends, giving vent to their hatred, and everywhere behaving with incredible cruelty. Even Donna has found that her friend Hettie, with her seemingly perfect life and fancy house, has unfriended her. And now, all over the world, internet trolls are dying...As more and more people give in to this wave of bitterness and aggression, it's clear this is no simple case of modern living. This is unkindness as a plague. From the streets of London to the web cafes of South Korea and the deepest darkest forests of Rio, can the Doctor and Donna find the cause of this unhappiness before it's too late?An original novel featuring the Tenth Doctor and Donna, as played by David Tennant and Catherine Tate.

As a Doctor Who fan, I loved this. Donna is one of my favorites, so I was happy to read this new adventure with her and number 10. That said, the writing was rather simplistic and I wish there was more to the story. I think fans will like this, but if you are not a viewer, this will just be ok for you.

Something is infecting people through the internet. Set shortly after the library episodes. The Doctor felt a bit flat at times, but Donna was definitely present. The octopus thing was very weird.

I am liking the story but I don't feel like 10's personality is really coming through in this one. Donna, however, is her usual fiery self!

Laura317 Love a good Donna story. Too bad it's not up to par. 8y

This is another book I'm reading. Doctor Who: In the Blood. This an adventure featuring the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble (David Tennant & Catherine Tate, respectively). The author captures their wit and chemistry so far. I loved Donna but I do miss Rose.

Happy Doctor Whosday! I tend not to read New Who books (there's just so much Classic Who in book form to enjoy!) but this one features my favourite pairing of the new show so I'll probably give it a shot.

Trav I adore these two -- Donna is my favourite companion in the new series and David Tennant is also my favourite Doctor. They just worked so well together. 8y
Anton @Trav Tennant is not my favourite Doctor, but I definitely liked him best with Donna. I'd love to see Donna interact with the Twelfth Doctor. Imagine the fights they could have! 8y
Trav @Anton He's not everyone's cup of tea -- do you have a favourite from the new series? Ha! Those two would make a great pairing; and there would definitely be a lot of quibbling going on 😂 8y
Anton @Trav Matt Smith is my favourite New Who Doctor, but Capaldi is a very close second (especially after the last season). I did enjoy Tennant when he was on the show, I just don't feel like his series have aged as well (except the Donna year). 8y
