Things get even more strange this issue. I wonder how one would describe this series? "Steampunk inter-species war and genocide for magic life giving abilities with talking animals and deco-punk architectural elements. Oh and there's a monster, too." It's impossible to pin this series down and that is a large part of its appeal. This was one of my favorite comics of 2016 and it probably will be this year, too.
