Book 4 of #14books14weeks2023 was a massive disappointment. I loved Koomson‘s book The Ice Cream Girls, but this one- about three women whose lives intersect is just ridiculous. The character development - if you can even call it that - made no sense. Why did I keep reading? Well, I skim read it because of the “mystery” but even that was unbelievable. Terrible.

Wow what a twist of a book wasn't expecting who it was or the reason at all , fantastic read

Meh, I totally wanted to love this but it felt like a bit of a code to read :( it was a good enough story and there were several twists and turns but it just didn't seem to grab me and make me not want to put it down like other Koomson books have. That being said I did persevere and finish it and that must stand for something! 5/10

⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was such a great surprise!

A #beachread on many levels:
1) Got Beach in the title;
2) Dorothy Koomson is a great author to read on the beach - love her books;
3) One I hope to read this Summer and hopefully on a quiet but sun filled beach, with the sound of the surf in the background.

Excellent book. Characters and plot line are totally believable and well written. 5 stars.
