I don't read a lot of crime fiction, but that might change after reading Every Secret Thing. Lippmann writes believable characters, including detectives who don't feel cliched. Good dialogue too. We should invite her to join #TheLauras.

Am I the only one who feels compelled to look up design stuff mentioned in books? One of the characters is very proud of her "Russell (sic) Wright" barware. Apparently this is said Russel Wright set. Eh. I'm so over mid century modern.
This was recommended to me as a scary book. I'm 2/3 into it and it's not scary, but it's holding my interest.
Noooooo! Overdrive and Libby won't bring up any of my library books. Was hoping to finish one this morning. 😿

This book was definitely a page turner. I had such a hard time putting it down that I got in trouble at work. ?? The writing is fantastic and the author does it great job at the slow reveal. I kind of guessed that "she" was a sociopath early on but there was still a few surprises! There is not a single likable character in this story and it is kind of depressing but I loved the book anyway.
Loving this book so far! I just wish I had more time to read. Also, hello, name is Diane and I am a Dr Pepper addict. 👋🏻 I hope everyone is having a great week! 😃📕
Alright! Got my April TBR list!🌺🌸💐🌷

Book haul and new chucks!! Yay!🤗🤗❤️❤️📚📚📚😃😃
Pretty good, although not the best book by Laura Lippman I've ever read. But dark and entertaining.
