For #ReadingTheAmericas2023 I selected this title for Bermuda. I can see why back in the day this was considered a creepy yet page-turning read. For me it was a 🌟🌟🌟 1/2 read. Very atmospheric. @Librarybelle @BarbaraBB

Never read this myself, but my mother did. I can still see the paperback on the table next to the wing chair that comprised the reading nook in her bedroom when I was a kid 💕
