I‘m back in a deep reading slump and I really only read the books for my Literature I exam. I finished Mrs Dalloway (boring and confusing) and Mrs Warren‘s Profession (okay).

Galeano is a genius... For RealZ. I read this book in preparation for a trip to the World Cup 2002; I was looking to learn about soccer but not the rules. I wanted to understand it from the inside. Galeano gave me that and so much more. Galeano blew my mind. Galeano is a genius.

PapiJ Agreed. Don't forget kudos to Mark Fried. Translation of a book that is genius into another language while retaining the genius and beauty of the language is comparable to creation of the original work. 8y
