Book 11 of #MountTBR - I usually really enjoy MacAlister‘s books but this one fell short for me. I liked the steampunk elements, but a good deal of the book felt silly. At least one character was so over the top and could have been cut completely. I‘m also wondering if she meant for this to be the start of another series and it never got anywhere. There were some things left unfinished. #Booked2018 #steampunk

LibrarianRyan I liked soulless. And I love her teen series. I have tried a few times to read steamed but never made it far. Usually like MacCalister books, so it might have been my mood. 8y

Bookzombie @LibrarianRyan I think I have been hesitant about Steamed and that's why it's still on my TBR. I don't know why because I have enjoyed all the others I have read. I'm going to get Soulless back to read. 8y

CocoReads It's just not my genre. But I have a daughter who loves it (steampunk) so I should be able to find something. But this is a definite maybe! 8y

Lauren_reading I had to stop reading her books. The blurbs make them sound entertaining, but the last one I tried was painful. 8y
