It started out good, the ending was bleh.
I've met War and Famine, who's next?
Bought this beauty. Time to read!

Also, my name is Daniella. I'm 19 years old and writer in my spare time. In addition, I love taking pictures and I would like to thank my friend @Lis21 for introducing this app. I'm curious. I wish everyone a lot of reading pleasure! 📚

I fell in love with this book! Character development was wonderful and the relationships felt realistic. The attention to detail on military concepts was perfect. You can tell the author has respect for those who serve. This book has won my heart. 10/10 would recommend. #loved #recommend #givemethesequel
"Out of the fog came the most stunning thing I'd ever seen. A horse. I couldn't be sure, but its coat was a bizarre red color, like blood from a deep cut, but bright. A deep, bright red. Even stranger were the flashes of gold and yellow on its hooves and mane. Flashes that looked like flames". #currentlyreading #beautifulcover
The story starts at the end with the main character Gideon recounting the story which is not my favorite style so I had some trouble at first but by the end you see there's a reason for it. I did enjoy this book, I hadn't read anything like it before so I found it refreshing. I do wish some parts of the story had more detail and some should have had less, but overall a good read😊👍🔥🐎🗡
I started this book this morning and it's really good so far! Gonna try to get in some outdoor reading before it hits 90 degrees😎📖
It took me a while to get through this one. For some reason it didn't flow for me. The narrative device was well done, and there were cool twists. But the story kind of dragged, pacing was uneven, and the characters where one note.
Been a few weeks, but that's what happens when school starts up. Also didn't help I fell into a book slump too! I know this book garners mixed reviews, but it's perfect for my readers who love jumping straight into the action. Lots of requests from my new readers for a book like that too; typically those who enjoy the post-apocalyptic storylines.
Finished Riders. This is book 1 of a new series. The main character is Gideon who dies and finds out he is an incarnation of War, one of the four horsemen. Along with Daryn, a Seeker, they find the other horsemen and try to prevent the Kindred from getting the key which would allow them to create a work of evil. Kindred are demons who left heaven with Satan but did not want even Satan to limit their power and evilness. Very good. On to the next!
Starting reading during lunch today. Guy finds out he's War after dying, then recovering very quickly. Two of my friends already love it so we'll see what I think.
Autographed copies at Malaprops Bookstore & Cafe in Asheville, NC (USA). Gorgeous store. Beautiful people.

I just finished this and I loved it! It's a duology so it left on a cliff hanger and needless to say I need the next one now. 4.7/5
This book just got me out of my reading slump! Told from a male perspective it's about the Four Horsemen and is PERFECT for Supernatural fans.
Ughhh just no. Things that didn't work - angry POV who think he's funny but.... Isn't (yes he is war but still) 2. Secretive plot that has a shitty reveal so late in the book that is ceases to matter 3. Annoying flashback narrative. Not for me 👎🏼
