Today has been expectedly full of Kempo, the Farmers Market, and cooking up this week's CSA bounty. I've listened to about 2 hours of the Words in the Dust audiobook and am enjoying it so far.
Hope to get some time to read for #24in48 this evening, though jam-making got pushed to after dinner because we were out of lemons.

I spent part of last night Browsing the book summaries on www.audiobooksync.com and have decided to start Words in the Dust by Trent Reedy as the audiobook for this very busy day
Finally made some progress on this one with lots of driving the last few days and intrigued as to where the story is yet to go.

While I can't speak to the authenticity without doing some research, I can say that this story is more complex than I anticipated, and I find myself spending more time listening than I might with another, less engaging book at the same reading level. I'm invested in the story.
