Mehso-so

This was a pretty fast paced #YA about a group of rich HS students on a hijacked private plane, but I couldn‘t seem to make myself care that much. I‘m really not sure why it didn‘t work for me, but I was not attached to the characters. It had quite a bit of death, both in the background stories and during the hijacking.

The last book I finished last night just before midnight was The Line Tender and the first one I started this morning is Skyjacked. Both are books I‘m reading in consideration of adding to my class library.

I chose this book as the subject matter of the movie interested me and the idea of it was really intriguing. The synopsis states that a group of teenagers is flying from Idaho to New York which starts as a normal plane trip until one of the friends falls ill for seemingly no reason, and the plant seems to be flying the wrong way. They have to try to escape from a plant that has obviously been hijacked.
