I also had a chance to visit my old church and was so glad to discover their #afrocentric #LittleFreeLibrary I plan to ship a few books back to be included in the library because the titles in there were so old. This library could really benefit from some #ownvoices and #diversebooks as it sits in the center of a black neighborhood and is located next to the community center and daycare. #blitsy #blacklitsy

Chrissyreadit I struggle too with this at my clinic. A lot of the donations I receive have animals with characters, and not an overt ethnicity, but I definitely do not get many African American or Latino books and I do serve a diverse group of kids. 5y
