I read a bit of the tagged and it‘s not what I want - very juvenile (I mean, it is a kids‘ adaptation) and visual-oriented, without a ton of meaning added through the extra stuff. It‘s going back to the library and I‘ll keep looking for the regular version. I will replace it on the #bookspinbingo board, which currently stands thus 👆🏼

Today‘s library #bookhaul for myself. I‘m conflicted - I thought the tagged was Bryson‘s A Short History of Nearly Everything, not the young readers‘ version. Apparently my library doesn‘t have the original. To read this version or to return it and try to find the original? That is the question.

MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm Knowing Bryson‘s sense of humor, it might be worth it to read both. 😅 I‘d be intrigued to see how well his humor carries over into a young reader‘s version. 3y

Learning all the things while baking all the cookies! I'm not typically a "science-y" person, but this is really interesting!

IamIamIam The science of baking in itself is amazing! Look into how different ratios of white to brown sugar affects the texture of chocolate chip cookies! #kitchenscience 7y
Dolly Hmm, warm cookie, chewy texture, but way too small. I'd eat around those white chocolate chips. 😁 7y
