pickI really enjoyed the narrator on this one! The delivery made for a hilarious listen at times. I laughed out loud at this book and also appreciated the more serious topics brought up. Georgina makes for a great heroine who you root for along the way! While a rom-com ending may make it a bit cheesy, it‘s an enjoyable read/listen! I would read/listen to another book by this author.
bailedI got a third of the way through and I just couldn't connect with the characters or enjoy the plot. I'm sure many people would enjoy the book, but a better offer from Libby came through, so I just bailed.
I read until midnight last night (when I finished the tagged book), wrapping up my #24b4Monday readathon. I listened to audiobooks and read on my kindle and physical books, finishing 3 books! This is the first time I‘ve ever made it to 24 hours!
pickThis is a lovely romp through a formulaic romance. No great surprises but well written and nicely paced. I eagerly looked forward to my afternoon commute to hear some more.

so-soAfter a predictable flashback opening (left hanging until nearly the end), the book started off rather slow. Some cringe-worthy moments and a couple scenes I didn‘t see the relevance. The author tries to be clever in slowly revealing Georgina‘s backstory, but it was awkwardly done. The ending is a typical rom-com ending.
TW: sexual assault, rape (which didn‘t mesh with the expectations of a typical chic-lit rom-com based on the synopsis)
