Dracula, My Love
Dracula, My Love: The Secret Journals of Mina Harker | Syrie James
5 posts | 9 read | 12 to read
Author Syrie James (The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen) offers readers a breathtaking new perspective on Bram Stokers classic tale of the king of the vampires with Dracula, My Love. In these Secret Journals of Mina Harker, the object of Draculas desire relates for the very first time the shocking story of her scandalous seduction and sexual rebirth. This is not the chaste vampire romance of TwilightDracula, My Love celebrates a passionate obsession in all its hot and sensuous glory.

#coffin #coolbooks @Linsy

When I think coffin, Dracula is the first thing that pops into my head. This book is written from Mina's point of view.

Linsy Classic coffin! ☠️ 7y

Mehso-so

This was okay. I started it when I was in Halloween-mode at the end of October, but set it down when life got crazy in November. It would be interesting to read this immediately after reading the original Dracula, but it has been a few years for me.

I generally like new takes on classic stories, romance, historical fiction... if you are in the mood for definite chic lit then you may like this. There was just something lacking in it for me.

Just hanging out, reading and watching cheesy Halloween movies with the pets and hubby tonight and a bowl of Halloween candy, waiting on trick or treaters #booktober #halloweenreads
