I'm 200 pages in and I'm not invested in any of the characters. There were too many pov characters and it stretched the story too thing, really preventing any kind of character development. The story felt really fragmented and didn't flow well. I'm stepping away and I'm okay with that. #netgalley

Starting this now from Netgalley. This is why I finally got around to The Witness Wore Red. I uttered an audible "oh shit" when I realized this was set in Short Creek. After reading Musser's book I know the significance.
