Pickpick

#14books14weeks Soft pick. Weber writes about her father Stanley Kaufman who‘s real job was insurance bonding for films, but always had a scheme to make it big, mostly to carve time away from the family for his numerous infidelities. And Grandmother Kay Swift, a broadway show tunesmith in her own right. Married w/ children, she carried on a long affair w/George Gershwin, about the time she divorced, Gershwin died young from a brain tumor.🔽

Leftcoastzen I would have probably liked it better if I didn‘t find poor parenting to be depressing!🙄😁 11mo
