The brutal death of a Swedish spy sends Nick Carter, Selena Connor and the rest of the Project team to Stockholm, where they find themselves pitted against a terrorist network hiding among the refugees flooding into the country. The discovery of an artifact from the fourth century plunges the team into a search for one of the most elusive relics of Christendom: the Holy Grail. An ancient prophecy foretells the End of Days if the Grail falls into the wrong hands. The Project team aren't the only ones searching. The murderous fanatics of ISIS are determined to find it for themselves. Nuclear Armageddon threatens America and finding the Grail is the only thing that can prevent disaster. Will the Project succeed before it's too late? You won't want to put this book down.

This is Book 13 in the Project Series and takes in #Syria. I do love the Project Series, a covert counter terrorism group, that also often incorporates a bit of history and treasure hunting. These are quick and often exciting reads with action, and a great group of characters. I think the author is self published (or was). I definitely recommend these and the first one can usually be downloaded from Amazon free.

Rarely see a post for these.

Andrew65 This is the first book in the series. 5y

Cinfhen Yes!!! Absolutely tagging the #SeriesSquad @TrishB @EadieB @gradcat 😜 5y
TrishB Interesting 👍🏻 @Cinfhen 5y
TrishB @Cinfhen the first one is free on kindle. That‘s made my day.... 5y
Andrew65 @TrishB It is also worth keeping an eye on the series because on occasions other books in the series have been made available free for short periods. 5y
TrishB I definitely will do 👍🏻 I scroll kindle quite a lot....I know hard to believe! 5y
Andrew65 @TrishB 😂 Don‘t think you‘re alone there! 🤔 5y
Cinfhen Who could pass on free @TrishB ?!???! 5y
TrishB @Cinfhen definitely not me! 5y
gradcat @Andrew65 Nice handoff! Another series, wow! Okay, I‘m quite tardy with Aimee LeDuc number 2, but I‘m just about done. Unforeseen events got in my way! 5y
Andrew65 @gradcat I know that feeling. Have you enjoyed Aimee LeDuc? 5y
gradcat @Andrew65 You know? To my surprise, I really have enjoyed the books. They are not at all what I was expecting. I suppose the difference for me is in the situations she gets into—these are not straight-up mysteries—more danger than I would‘ve thought. What about you? Tell the truth now....😊 5y
Andrew65 @gradcat Overall I enjoyed it but not as much as the first one. She is a good character and they are well written, but the overarching theme was not as enjoyable or as engaging as the first one which I loved. I just wish they were easier to get hold of over here. 5y
gradcat @Andrew65 I guess I didn‘t realize that...so sorry! I have to use a Kindle, so is it possible for me to gift it to you? I could check if you like. Also, finally I‘ve finished...review coming soon (I have out-of-town guests—just another delaying event!)....☺️ 5y
Andrew65 @gradcat That‘s the strange thing about Kindle. In the US you can gift books but in the U.K. it won‘t allow us to do that to receive books from other countries. Thanks for offering though. 😊 My library only has one in the series, but at least all but three of them are available as audiobooks on Audible. 5y
gradcat @Andrew65 Sorry—I wish that could‘ve worked, but thanks for checking on it—now I know. Is everyone still interested in reading the books? I don‘t want people to feel obliged. Anyway, since I‘ve never done a buddy read, I‘m not really sure of the strictures and structure, as it were. Houseguests leave tomorrow, so I should have my review up by Monday...crossing fingers! 5y
