Mehso-so

While I liked the story well enough, it felt 1 dimensional. I always had every intention of finishing the book, but it was soooo slow at times I couldn't finish a chapter without getting distracted. It lacked a lot of the qualities from book 1 where I fell in love with the Quinn's.

She really expects a proposal after the first official date out? 🙄🙄🙄 regardless if they've been friends half their lives and secretly in love with one another, it's still a brand new relationship. Stuff like this is driving me batty with this book.

My first book for July is the second book in The Chesapeake Bay saga. I have never in my life read 11 books in a single month. I've had a lot of free time lately 🤓📚
