This was a great book about magic and illusions, and how a killer always gets away.

Incredibly well researched. Loads of twists and turns that became somewhat ridiculous but still well written.
Not my favorite Rhyme but still a good read.

Be prepared for pictures of books in grass with autumn leaves and coffee! Autumn is here!

Lunchtime reading.
Coffee to warm me up because autumn is starting to hit the east coast. (And because it enables me to do all the things.)
Pasta with nutritional yeast on top.

These books are sort of ridiculous, but I do enjoy them. The characters don‘t really speak as humans usually do, and there are just so many convenient coincidences (is that deus ex machina?) but they sure do keep you hooked and I love them!

I enjoyed this book very much. I loved that the villain was an illusionist and throughout the book we learned about magicians and the art of illusion. The aspiring magician Kara was a great character and a nice addition to the book.
