pickA lovely story about a Dragon and an octopus who meet in unforeseen circumstances and develop a relationship that will change both their lives in astonishing ways.
This is a children's book but the author is a marine biologist and the detail and knowledge she has put into this story ensures that the world she creates is appealing to all. Also the overarching themes of unity, cooperation and peace are relevant to the world today. A 5 star read.
pickA bit utopian for my personal taste, but it's for kids so that's probably a good thing. The friendship between the dragon and the octopus is adorable. The science sprinkled throughout the tale is magnificent. Full review on Goodreads. (Erin Michelle Sky)
