🎧 📚 Middle grade book? This book felt very Gaiman-y … the whimsical Neil. I enjoyed it. I will continue with the series!

For Advent I attempted to read some Christmas and wintery books but these were the only ones I finished. My goal was a book every 2-3 days but I ended up with lots of work stress that required a nap instead of read time every day after I got home…..

Frostheart was definitely my favorite read and The Christmas Pig was really cute.

A nice Christmas herbal tea with the rest of Voyage of the Frostheart for today‘s advent adventures.

I love the holiday season! I buy non-book gifts for family and friends ... and they buy me books and art supplies!! 😆 They honestly know & understand my super nerdom. I just finished episode 3 of season 5 of The Expanse & still loving it. I feel they‘re doing a good job as I‘m getting major deja vu due to already having read the books. Back to these 2 books, both look SO good for much different reasons!! Excited to add them to my TBR 😁

A cute middle grade fantasy with a lot of imagination & some good mild creepy vibes. A great introduction to the fantasy genre for early readers. The characters are very colorful & entertaining, with good creation of tension from beginning to end. The end was somewhat unsatisfying due to what amounts to a cliffhanger, despite the resolution of some major events. I look forward to reading the sequel when it becomes available later this year.

A cute fun adventure of a boy trying to find his parents while trying to understand what is so wrong about being different. I loved Tobu the Yeti. There is also art all through out the book which made it lovely!

If I remember correctly this is a graphic novel. If it is not, please forgive me for leading you astray.
