Mehso-so

This was not bad, but not good either. It just kind of was? I'm a huge fan of her The Heir, The Captive books and I held this to that standard and was disappointed. Burrows has a special place in my heart for making her romance novel characters practical and real and this still did that, but no one stood out and we spent way too much time with the villians in bed. Overall, I really wasn't happy, but I can't bring myself to pan Burrows.

CoverToCoverGirl This author has been on my radar for some time but I haven‘t been able to get to her yet... soooo many books etc...😊 7y
theresidentromantic @CoverToCoverGirl She's a good one, she's not Tessa Dare, but I throughly enjoyed The Heir, The Virtuoso, and The Captive, the Windham boys. This is not where I'd start with her, for sure. 7y
