I had purchased this as a 99p kindle deal that popped up a while ago, and wasn‘t sure what to expect. When I read non-fiction it is rarely a collection of writing like this. But I was pleasantly surprised. Each piece gave a small insight into someone‘s life, be it their battle with their mental health, an obituary to a loved one, a little cartoon, song lyrics, or coping strategies.

This book aims to show that you are not alone.

Chrissyreadit Yes!!! A LOT of the mental health work is explaining that emotions are normal. They are meant to inform and provoke us- to seek help, comfort, others, or move on, different places and different things. To improve ourselves and our surroundings. I also know that unhealthy expectations around school and work and relationships are for super humans not humans. And no one is super human. 4y
