I realized I never reviewed or tagged this one for #Booked2020. I came away with many practical (but not necessarily easy to implement) tips for dealing with my jaw pain caused by TMJD. This is a great resource for anyone interested in ways to ease pain of the head, neck and/or jaw. #LiveandLearn @4thhouseontheleft @Cinfhen @BarbaraTheBibliophage

BarbaraTheBibliophage Looks interesting. I might be able to call it continuing education. (I‘m a massage therapist!) 4y
cherinium @BarbaraTheBibliophage Perhaps! The author is a physical therapist and specializes in this area. The book has an entire chapter dedicated to trigger points and advice on releasing the tension contributing to the pain. 4y
Cinfhen I‘ve just been diagnosed with TMJ so this book comes at a great time/ thanks for posting & sharing 🙌🏻 4y

michellelav I also have TMJ and will have to check this out! 4y
cherinium @Cinfhen @michellelav I'm sorry to hear. I was officially diagnosed about a year ago, but realistically have probably been dealing with it for years. It's a frustrating condition that can affect quality of life more than I ever realized. I feel I should warn you that the suggestions in this book make 100% sense to me, but they involve making changes to life long habits that do not come easily. It's a work in progress for me. 😕 4y
Cinfhen I‘m not even aware of what it is I‘m doing that‘s going to need to change so this will probably be a good wake up call!!! Timing of your posting is perfect 4y
