I thoroughly enjoyed reading bits and pieces of this gigantic cookbook. While it is a cookbook and has oodles of recipes, it's also a history of food in Scandinavia. Highly recommend it for the photos inside and the introduction to each chapter. The recipes are good too - picked out a few to try.

One of my desserts the other night from the Great Northern Food Hall in Grand Central, NYC. While this fig and thyme tart (probably) isn't in the cookbook, they are selling the book here. Everything at this food hall is fantastic and it's really worth a visit. It he Grains bat was my favorite and they also have interesting beer and wine list. ❤️🍰

Audrey @Khutchinthecity here is the fig thyme tart that you should try. Just came back from the food hall with grains for breakfast as well as treats for the train ride home. So nice to chat with you yesterday. 8y
