🌼 I‘ve got big goals for the #BigJuneReadathon, but I wouldn‘t have it any other way! My main goal is to read 55 books, but I broke it down into a couple categories as well, including 2022 most anticipated, non fiction, classics, Reese‘s book club, NetGalley, Chirp audios, and owned unread. 🌼

✨ Update: I added the goal of 110,000+ annual pages read by the end of the month. I‘m currently hovering around 90,000 pages. ✨

Although I don‘t have any specific books that I need to read for this weekends #20in4, here are some that are currently on my radar.

Have you read any of these? Any thoughts or suggestions?

KristiAhlers Oh I LOVED the One Night with Audrey Hepburn. In fact the whole series is super cute! 2d
Andrew65 Not read any, but plenty I‘d like to read. 2d
Clwojick @KristiAhlers ❤️Good to know! I have the whole series saved, but AH is my favourite so I wanted to start with this one. 2d

@Andrew65 is hosting another #20in4 #readathon this weekend! It‘s been a weird reading month for me. It started off super slow, but things have slowly been picking back up. I‘m on overnights for the next 6 days, so this is perfect timing for me!

Thanks to the #ThingsinCommon reading challenge last month, I devoured a bunch of books from my NetGalley and Chirp audiobook apps. I finished my 2022 goal of reading/listening to 100 of such books, and now I‘m hoping to double it!

KristiAhlers I just finished a 100 read challenge and now I‘m down to only 43 unread books on my kindle. 🤣 I don‘t think that counts as hoarding since I don‘t have to make space for it. 1w
Clwojick @KristiAhlers Wow! Only 43! Way to go! I have over 500 audiobooks, and about 2500 kindle downloads. I seriously need to work on lowering those numbers. 😅 1w
BethM @KristiAhlers I agree that it doesn‘t count as hoarding! 1w
RedxoHearts I need to make a goal like that! My kindle runneth over. 😂 I also have had way too many samples of books on my kindle that I finally started working through. I started out with almost 200 and I'm down to 80. 1w

Hello everyone!

Round 2 of the #AestheticallyMatched challenge is now open! This round is a BIG one, and has close to 400 images. I have created subfolders for those who would like to pick a specific “genre”, or you can pick and choose which images you‘d like to match a book with. If you want the mega challenge of doing all of them, you can find them in the “ALL PHOTOS” folder. Feel free to backdate to match with any 2022 reads. ⬇️

Clwojick There is no end date for this round, so if you want to keep going after 2022 is over I am totally okay with that! 💖 1mo

Starting the #AwesomeApril #readathon hosted by the amazing @Andrew65 two days early, because why not?!

Let‘s see how far I can make it through my upcoming #ThingsinCommon planned reading. Can anyone guess how I‘ll be matching my books to each other?

Bookzombie Just guessing- first two authors‘ last name start with B, then lips on cover, authors‘ last name start with H, flowers on cover, authors‘ last start with M, animals on the cover, organs in the title, blue on cover, dog on cover, long hair, authors‘ last name starts with T, word in title starts with G, man on cover, pink on cover for three books, name of city on cover… this isn‘t all of them. 🙂 2mo

Andrew65 @Clwojick @Eadieb Apologies for my absence, been dealing with a lot as recently diagnosed with Crohn‘s and processing that, then last week was my last week in school with children as head teacher after 19 years. Quite an emotionally charged period. Still tasks to complete and clear out from school but children on holiday now. Last day as a head is officially Monday 18th. Think it will take a lot to get used to being a head is a 365 day a year job! 2mo
Andrew65 Not officially retired. During the Spring and Summer will be doing sone touring before I decide if anything else I want to get involved in within education (remotely due to COvID) from the next school year 2mo
Andrew65 Dates for #AwesomeApril will be 9th April - 17th April, and will also involve a bit of an Easter Egg Hunt. 2mo
EadieB @Andrew65 Good to hear from you. I was starting to get concerned. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Hopefully it will get better once you are more relaxed. I guess you have quite a lot to clear out at school after all the years you have been there. How is the new head doing with their new position? 2mo
Andrew65 @EadieB They don‘t start until Monday 19th but helped their preparation as much as I could. Next week go back in to finish off tasks and clear out 15 years of stuff. Away this week to try to acclimatise to things and build up sone energy. Days so busy been little tine for anything else. 2mo
EadieB @Andrew65 Sounds like you‘re in control and have everything ready for the new person. Have a great holiday and check in when you can and let us know how you are doing. 2mo
Andrew65 @EadieB Hopefully will be in a position to check in daily as usual now. Although nothing still seems real at the moment. 2mo
Clwojick @Andrew65 I‘m so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. ❤️ I‘m sure the next few weeks will be emotional for you while you step away from your position, especially after being there for so long… but I‘m happy to hear your still staying within education. I misunderstood and thought you were fully retiring. 2mo
EadieB @Andrew65 Ok that‘s good! It will take time getting used to the fact that you won‘t have your job hanging over your head all the time. I‘m sure you have some mixed feelings about leaving but I‘m confident that you can make it work with whatever you decide to do. (edited) 2mo
jenniferw88 @Andrew65 I also have Crohn's and live in UK. If you want to chat/discuss/anything else feel free to email me at irene_gulliver@yahoo.co.uk 2mo
Andrew65 @jenniferw88 That‘s very kind, thanks 😍 2mo
Andrew65 @EadieB Yes it will take time to decide what if anything I want to do next and am not rushing. We have been saving for many years to see us through this period, although likely COvID had accelerated it, but that is no bad thing. Will tour this Spring / Summer whilst we consider what next, and seek to establish a new routine in our lives. 2mo

Here is my final April #bookspinbingo list! I had to change up a few things, adding in some holds that just came in and books to fit specific prompts. Number 4 is blank, since I couldn‘t decide on which #booktoscreen adaptation I wanted to read. There are so many good options out there, so I‘m just going to pick in the moment. 🧡

As for March, I‘ve finished all but 2 books, which unfortunately were both of my #roll100 picks.😳

Zoes_Human I love your layout. It's very clean. 2mo
TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!!! 2mo
PuddleJumper So neat and pretty 😍 2mo
PageShifter I have read Next Year in Havana and The Midnight Library Library from this list. I wish you happy reading :) 2mo

#20in4 final update!

I included Makin‘ Bacon and Odd Child Out even though technically I finished them after midnight. I finished them before I went to sleep, so I‘m saying they count 😅🤣

All in all I had a productive weekend. A lot of 3⭐️ reads, but nothing that blew my mind. That‘s to be predicted though, since I‘ve been into my guilty pleasure predictable romances lately.

Thanks for hosting @Andrew65 Can‘t wait til the next one! ❤️🥸
