Yeah, he seems like a jerk but he knows what‘s going on. Tamlin is still keeping things from Feyre - to protect her or himself and his realm? Can he really send her home? Will she leave her newfound home now that she finally feels comfortable there? She might not have a choice. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance #ACOTAR Ch.22,23,24: Feyre is definitely liking and trusting Tamlin more - enough to show him her paintings, and to dress to impress. And he shows her what his world is really like. I feel better knowing that his court is not completely abandoned as it appeared to be. There are many more fairies there than Feyre could see. ⬇️

#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong Ch.6-10: this book definitely has interesting twists and turns. Another cop is dead and another cop was dirty. Eve knows Ricker was involved. She goes after the goons that Ricker sent after her and when she gets one to flip he dies conveniently. Is Ricker untouchable? Roarke is mad at Eve for going after Ricker on her own, then tethering him when he wants to go after him in revenge. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance #ACOTAR Ch.19,20,21: We learn more about the Faerie world and about the concept of Mates. Could Tamlin and Feyre be destined or is it not in the cards? But things are starting to go well between Feyre and Tamlin, that is until Feyre goes against his orders and sneaks out to the Fire Njght. Feyre and her curiosity! She lands in such dangerous situations. ⬇️

They aren‘t all the vicious creatures she was warned about - although there do seem to be a lot of dangers in The Spring Court. And who is this terrible lady faerie we keep hearing whispers about? She‘s still working for her family even when she‘s away from them. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance #ACOTAR Ch.10,11,12: we learn more about Tamlin-that he‘s a great warrior-and Prythian, and catch glimpses of conversations that tell us things are not great in Fae-land. Tamlin and Lucien are worried and Feyre hates being in the dark. She‘s brave for digging and asking the questions she does. I wouldn‘t have the guts. But where does she fit in? Is there another reason Tamlin brought her there? Why is he running out of time?

#LittensLoveRomance #ACOTAR Ch.7-9: Mmm Feyre gets to eat. I‘m here for it - let‘s fatten this poor girl up. Feyre tries to plan a way to escape. She disses Tamlin when he offers her a tour (brave or dumb) and seeks out the foxy Lucien to get him to plead her case with Tamlin. She should have just played nice with Tamlin in hopes of doing it herself - but what do I know. But Lucien sees right through her plan and basically puts a stop to it. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance #ACOTAR Ch.4-6: definite Beauty & the beast vibes now, as Feyre is forced to go to the Faerie land as prisoner/guest - her punishment for killing a faerie wolf. Of course, she‘s desperate to escape and return to her family - who, let‘s face it, don‘t stand a chance without her. I‘d be soaking in this vacation if I were her…⬇️

I hate her family - I feel bad that Feyre (pronounced Fair-ruh) is taking care of them and feels bound to them and bound to her terrible existence. They‘re useless. I said it. But A promise is a promise and Feyre made a serious one to her mother - ⬇️

#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong Ch.1-5: a cop is killed - and it‘s way overkill - inside an upscale strip club owned by Roarke. Eve is determined to find the killer, and dig into the secrets the cop may have been carrying. Was he on the take? She gets warned by IAB and the cop‘s finances point to yes. But Eve still needs to find the killer-while juggling jurisdictional BS. ⬇️

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Sorry for the late post - I missed my cue (haha - get it, because theatre?) Ch.16-end / review — as usual we were led down some dark passages in this one, and it hit close to home for Eve. The victim in this case was deplorable- and Eve ended up feeling for the killer. I thought the twist and reveal was pulled off nicely - Dame Christie would have been proud. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.34-end/review: it was big gesture time and I think Dominic nailed it. A public declaration of love goes a long way - with Shay, with their audience, and with us. Good things on the horizon for them and the new show. Overall I enjoyed this book but I can‘t say I loved it - I was on edge for a big chunk, waiting for the big lie to be exposed. But I enjoyed the conversations, the setting, and thought Shay and Dominic were cute.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.28-30: Yay! I‘m happy they‘re happy. Thank goodness Dominic actually pinned Shay down and they TALKED! A novelty in romance novels haha. But there‘s still a chunk of the book left and they still have to deal with the lie that has only gotten bigger the longer they‘re on the air…things are about to get sticky I think. But we‘ve been anticipating the bubble to burst since this thing started so…let‘s go!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.25-27: oh Shay. I‘m sad for you. Don‘t get me wrong, we‘re all a little self sabotaging at times and I‘d probably have screwed this up too. But I‘m sad for you. Poor Dominic. He didn‘t deserve such an abrupt end. Now Ameena - she deserves to be given the cold shoulder. She was pretty harsh. Poor TJ haha - having to be in the middle. I feel like I‘ve been on edge this whole book and it‘s all about to hit the fan.

#LittensLoveRomance ch22-24: How are Shay and Dominic going to handle things now that they‘ve crossed that line? Hope they can be honest abt what they‘re feeling-but let‘s be real-More lies will be told before this book is done. Do we think Shay should confront Kent for being so misogynistic? That‘s a tough road to travel. But can she be fulfilled in a position lower than Dominic? And will Shay have a falling out with Ameena over everything?

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.19-21: We finally get to learn more abt Dominic and his past relationship- his only relationship. But though his number is less than Shay‘s it seems as though he has more overall experience than Shay when it comes to love and intimacy. Their weekend away had indeed made them closer. And no surprise, things start to heat up. How will they navigate things when they get back home and go back to work?

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.11-15: the more we learn about the victim Draco, the more he turns out to have been a really rotten guy. An altercation from 24 years ago is revealed and as Eve digs, she may have found more unsettling information about Draco and his last lover Carly. Secrets never stay buried. And this one is a real killer. Meanwhile, Roarke gives Mcnab dating advice to woo Peabody, and Eve tries to woo Roarke with a romantic dinner

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.16-18: guh - trolls are the worst! What was up with that caller? Shay and Dominic had a close one on air. But I don‘t think a weekend away will solve this particular problem. They‘re in for a world of hurt when their carefully constructed house of lies comes crashing down. And I hate their sexist boss btw. He‘s a bit to blame for all this!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.13-15: well things are definitely getting more complicated between Dominic and Shay. Even if it is Drunk Dominic and slightly tipsy Shay. I wonder how he‘ll handle seeing her Tuesday - will he just ignore it? I feel bad that they are both lonely people. Maybe they need each other. But can they be just friends?

#LittensLoveRomance Ch. 10-12: the show is a hit and their boss is happy - for now. He‘ll be happy so long as they‘re popular. After that, who knows. But Shay is feeling the guilt over lying. How long will she be able to keep it up? I think they should at least tell Ruthie. And Shay‘s mom. Yeesh that will be awkward when the truth comes out.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch:7-9 Shay is definitely attracted to Dominic-but will her feelings get in the way of their new show and the lies they have to keep straight? This would stress me out to the point of hives I think. Especially lying to her mom. I also feel as though a 3 month relationship does not a relationship guru make. I‘d rather listen to a show where the hosts had been together for years. But that would be an even bigger lie to deal with.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.4-6: it‘s a tough nugget to swallow when you‘re given an ultimatum-do this new show or you‘re fired. Looks like Dominic is getting to see how the real world of journalism is. But Shay is right - it could open doors and lead to other opportunities for both of them. They just have to make sure they don‘t get caught. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance ch.1-3: well I don‘t like snobby Dominic so far- Mr. Northwestern- but I‘m sure he‘ll grow on me. I feel for Shay. She‘s feeling lonely and left behind. And unfulfilled. I hope she finds what she‘s looking for. It‘s interesting seeing a radio station in the times of podcasting - what a competitive environment! Must be so hard to stay relevant.

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.6-10: Eve has a very interesting cast of characters to deal with - some of whom hated the deceased. We find out the victim was pretty much an a—hole and a sexual deviant (poor Nadine). He had a tape of her that if it got out would be pretty bad. What was he planning to do with it? Was that why he called her for dinner? Or was it just to discuss old times? ⬇️

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.1-5: All the world‘s a stage…we‘re thrust into the world of the theatre and the actors that live and breathe it. A man is killed in front of Eve and 3000 other people and the question is not who did the actual deed but who switched out the prop knife with a real one. The victim is much hated so there seem to be a lot of motives. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.61-end: wow! I didn‘t see the twist coming - it was very craftily done. Everything was properly wrapped up in a perfect bow. The only thing I was hoping for was for Maggie to be Eleanor‘s long lost niece somehow…but sadly I was not correct about that. Still it was a great book - a lot of fun with romance and suspense. I truly enjoyed it!

There‘s not much of the book left so we‘ll finish it off tomorrow! I honestly can‘t wait any longer.

#LittensLoveRomance Hope you all had a nice holiday yesterday! Ch.51-55: Eek, Maggie don‘t believe it! There has to be an explanation. Ethan is a good guy and he‘s the best guy for you. But who bashed her in the head and put her in the greenhouse? Are they planning on starting another fire?

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.46-50: the more I get to know Maggie and Ethan the more I want them to be together. This book has sucked me in for sure. I‘m still not sure who the would-be killer is though. I want to say Rupert because he‘s a conniving weasel but I‘m leaning towards Cece or even Rupert‘s wife bc you‘d never suspect her. But who really knows except maybe Eleanor and the villain of the piece.⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.41-46: Someone has been out to get Eleanor for longer than we thought. That‘s probably why she seemed sad when Maggie came across her earlier in the book. Perhaps she invited the mystery writers as a way to help her solve her own case. I liked that Ethan and Maggie are sharing now - I mean, what better time and place than in a dark passageway - no escaping if things get real. So now my question is what happened in Tucson??

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.36-40: Boy, Rupert is a piece of work. How sad to have family you can‘t trust. Poor Eleanor. I wasn‘t surprised there was a secret passage in her house - because of course there is. How fun and potentially useful for her. What will Maggie and Ethan find I wonder?

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.31-35: I think I may be obsessed with Ethan now - the romance in this book is ramping up, and there‘s no one who deserves it more than Maggie. Man, Colin is a jerk. I feel so bad that she was treated like that by her husband. She deserves so much more!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.26-30: well things have definitely escalated and now there‘s a chance that Maggie was wrong and they‘re all in danger. But I so wanted her to be right! She better stick close to Ethan because it seems he‘s the only one in the house who‘s thinking straight.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.21-25: Maggie is on a mission and she doesn‘t care if she leaves anyone behind. Better she does it first than let them leave her. Which is why she can‘t trust Ethan right now and can‘t share what she thinks she knows. Is she right though? Is this a test set up by Eleanor? If so, there‘s no one who knows her more than Maggie. Maggie is set to win. But will she need help along the way?
