#BakerStreetIrregulars Our March read was the new book by James Patterson and Brian Sitts, a fast paced detective story that paid tribute to three famous literary characters, Sherlock Holmes, Miss Marple, and Poe‘s early detective Auguste Dupin. While the short chapters and quick dialogue made for an entertaining read, we felt that these authors may have tried to fit more into this book than they should have. There was…a lot going on. ⬇️

#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong I really enjoyed this contribution to the series. What‘s interesting is I read that this series was originally meant to be a trilogy. It would have ended with the wedding! Instead we‘re up to…what, book 65 or something?? I can‘t wait to see what further growth the characters have and who else joins this crazy cast of characters. #LittensLoveRomance Review: I liked this book more the further I got into it: it started out as kind of enemies to lovers or at least annoyance (on her part) to lovers and I enjoyed the book more when they were in love and together. But that‘s just me. Overall I liked this book and all the side characters and I loved Nate especially. I‘m looking forward to continuing the series.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.43-45: Ughhhh I‘m getting tired of saying how much I hate Aaron. Nate is right and Stasie spending so much time justifying her stance is irritating. Will she and Nate be able to make it through this? At least she and Lola are going to move. Wait until they tell Aaron.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.40-42: First, we finally get the interruption we all saw coming and Nate‘s dad and sister show up. Well that was awkward- at least it wasn‘t as embarrassing as it could‘ve been. Good for Stasie for standing up to his dad. And it felt like Nate might have even had a moment with his dad after…maybe. But I sense trouble on the horizon. ⬇️

The writing was very well done and I really fell for the romance between Knightley and Emma. It was believable and sweet. I will definitely pick up Darcy‘s book when it comes out.

And telling their family…this Sunday dinner is gonna be one for the books.

I mean WTF? She‘s a glutton for punishment.

I‘m so happy Nate and Stasie are official-ish now lol. Like they weren‘t before 🙄😄

Her path lies elsewhere where she can stand on her own.

Eve has a terrible nightmare/memory and finally relives what happened on that final fateful night.

Peabody gets closer to Casto, even though he has shown a bit of flirty interest in Eve.
Eve finds her unknown - the immortal flower -deadly, beautiful and illegal⬇️

No surprise about Montgomery and davina. He‘s flaky and she seemed a bit sly maybe. I mean who hooks up at a party when your date‘s downstairs!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.25-27: I can‘t believe Aaron is trying so hard to control Stasie, going so far as to limit what she eats. He‘s got sooo many issues and I can‘t believe the coach hasn‘t noticed anything. Aren‘t they there to help protect their skaters? Maybe they only care if they‘re winning. At least she‘s listening to Nate who has her best interests at heart. I do worry something is going to happen with Nate and his dad though.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.22-24: Ouch. I can‘t imagine what Stasie is going through after being dropped. How scary! That sport is intense. So now Nate has offered to be her skating partner - and keep his hands off her - so to speak. Ha! Good luck with that. These two are - respectfully - horndogs. We‘ll see how long their self imposed sex hiatus goes.

I liked the therapy session. Stasie is smart and understands what‘s happening which is refreshing. Here‘s hoping she talks to Nate.

Margo is so clueless when it comes to everything lol. Montgomery, Knightley, Davina, Nadine - Yeesh. Won‘t she be surprised when Emma is actually honest with her.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.16-18: Wow. I knew this book was spicy but that was S-P-I-C-Y! I‘m sitting in the living room with my headphones on totally embarrassed even though no one can hear what‘s happening. 🪭 and of course now Nate wants exclusivity. How‘s he going to make that happen?

We finally get insight into what makes Stasie tick as she shares a bit of her childhood with Nate. And- surprising no one, Aaron is once more a jerk.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.13-15: okay, maybe listening to this on the bus isn‘t such a solid plan. My cheeks must have been blazing during the Uber scene. I‘m all for some spice but maybe not on my morning commute. 😂🤔

So Nate wants more with Stasie than she‘s willing to give and then she gets bitten by the green eyed monster when she sees him with someone else. Hmmm - better sort yourself out Stasie.

Unfortunately she needs Knightley to feel proud and he‘s too busy putting her down in an effort to downplay his feelings for her.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.10-12: Oh this back and forth between Stasie and Nate - they should get on with what seems inevitable at this point. But maybe not in the back of a filled Uber car. I liked how Nate got to see how tough Stasie‘s sport is and how great she is on the ice. That‘s getting to know her in itself. We‘ll see where things go from here but I‘m sensing feelings in the future.

And the next time he sees her she‘s in bed with another guy. Innocently it‘s true, but this is about optics. And it could look like she goes from guy to guy - just like Aaron suggested. ⬇️

At least Mavis is smart enough to have faith in Eve and not blame her for having to arrest her. Hopefully that‘ll hold. ⬇️

#Pemberlittens #JaneAdjacent Ch.14-15: Well, we finally meet the elusive Montgomery Knox and he‘s everything Emma should want. Yet she is worried about what Knightley thinks and doesn‘t go further with Knox when the opportunity arises. And Knightley definitely doesn‘t like Knox. Perhaps he worries that he‘ll flake on his brother‘s restaurant. I definitely think he‘ll flake on Emma. I doubt he‘s interested in a relationship that would tie him down.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.4-6: Seriously,Aaron is a mystery. What is wrong with him? Does he have feelings for Anastasia? At least the truth came out about what really happened with the rookie hockey player and the freshman. I wonder if they pressed charges for vandalism? I like how cool and drama free Stasie&Ryan are with each other. It‘s refreshing actually bc I thought for sure there‘d be angst somewhere there. But again-why is Aaron such a prick?
