3 posts | 15 read | 6 to read
Our favorite zombie Angel Crawford has come a long way from her days as a pain-pill-addicted high school dropout with a felony record. After a year highlighted by murder, kidnapping, and the loss of her home, all she wants to do is kick back, relax, and maybe even think about college. But when key members of the Zombie Mafia go missing, she has no choice but to get involved. Angel is certain Saberton Corporation is behind the disappearances, yet she cant shake the sense that a far deeper conspiracy is at work. With the small band of friends she can trust, Angel strikes out to track down the missing zombies. But when unexpected danger threatens to destroy her, all the brains and bravado in the world may not be enough to keep her from going to pieces.

I love the focus on building her friendships throughout this road trip / zombie spy rescue mission. And even though she‘s the least experienced and most undertrained member of their impromptu team her contributions to their adventures are pivotal and important and the detail makes sense. Angel levels up. The stakes are higher. Her friendships with the other Tribe members strengthen. We get lots of gross/fun zombie fun along the way!

Oh my goodness, this series is fantastic! This installment ups Angel‘s badassery, though the end left me worried for where our heroine is headed. Thank the book gods I was able to dive straight into the next book! I can‘t get enough of White Trash Zombie!

Crash I really enjoy this series. 7y
