The characters in this book are doomsday preppers. They spend their life preparing for any nuclear wars, apocalypses, and natural disasters. You know, all that jazz. I'll admit it I‘m the tiniest bit curious by the idea of any kind of doomsday situation. By the tiniest bit curious. I mean I spend a bit of time thinking about what I would do in that situation and what the world would truly be like. Can't blame me. I'm a writer, after all.

Pickpick

This was definitely an interesting book. 3 sisters being raised as extreme 'Preppers' encounter issues with other members of their group, which is paralleled by another storyline that would give too much away if I revealed it. I liked reading about the survival skills, gear, acronyms preppers use, etc., & found several of the characters likeable. Humor helped to balance out the tense subject matter, but this in no way detracted from the suspense.

Pickpick

Three sisters are raised to be prepared For The End Of The World As We Know It, whether it's the bomb, economic collapse, a viral flu pandemic, or some other apocalyptic event. Labeled weird at their newest school, things go sideways when the school goes on lockdown and Honey climbs up into the ventilation shaft to make her escape. Her classmates watch her departure in amazement. I was entertained. 😂👍 Dexter #catsoflitsy
