Wow. Graphic and personal accounts from a perspective unfamiliar to me.

Holy mackerel! This was the most graphic, WWII account I ever read. Several German soldiers gave their account of when the allies invaded France on D-Day. They describe killing allied soldiers charging the beaches and also watching their fellow soldiers being annihilated by flame throwers, rockets, phosphorous, and tank rounds. Horrific! How did anyone survive this war??? #dday #wwii #normandy

This is a very good book 📚 definitely not what you get from history books in school. It was very interesting to get a different perspective of a historical event.
