AmyG@dabbe I saw all these movies before I was 21. At the time they scared me but now I guess I am used to them. I watch them every year around Halloween.2y
TheLudicReader@dabbe@AmyG , so the story goes that John Carpenter made the movie and then showed his elderly aunt the film w/o the score. She was like, “yeah, it‘s good.” But not particularly scary. Then he wrote and added the music. She couldn‘t watch it - too freaked out. 😂2y
dabbe@TheLudicReader Interesting! Every year I rewatch the original, and then that song is in my head for the rest of the month. Another one with eerie music: THE EXORCIST. I just hear the opening, and chills run up my spine. 😱2y
