so-soThe narrator here is fighting his way through bureaucracy, plots, counter plots, counter counter plots, lies, conspiracies, and everything else you can imagine that could exist in The Building - a third Pentagon, set around 500 years in the future. The whole purpose of The Building seems to be generate work for people.
While the book was entertaining, sometimes the plot and conversations were so confusing I lost track of what was being said.
I'm still doing the #earthseachapteraday read along, but somehow I'm unable to stick to the timeline. I started The Farthest Shore late, but finished it in only three days.
So I started this one, my first book by Stanislaw Lem. I'm nearly halfway through, and let me tell you: It. Is. Weird. Cool weird, but absolutely weird. I'm not even sure if there is a real point to the story. But it does make me laugh a lot.
Today is #NationalReadInTheBathTubDay!!! I'd say spread the word and put some pictures up, but that'd be a bit inappropriate 😂👏🏻.
