The Last Bookstore | 
I spent 3 days in LA thanks to a work conference, so in addition to brief visits to Venice Beach, Little Tokyo, and Los Feliz, I tried a few literary tourist sites. The lower center & upper right pics are from the beautiful downtown library that I remember reading about in that Susan Orlean book. The others are from The Last Bookstore, an old bank vault reimagined as a bookstore with a design concept that felt to me like 'haunted house'? Very fun!

ImperfectCJ Great destinations! Did you do the library tour, or just visit? The artist spaces on the 2nd floor of The Last Bookstore are my favorite. The popular photo spots are cool, too, of course, though crowded. 1mo

Billypar @ImperfectCJ I wish I had time for the library tour! I had to prep for a presentation, so I thought I'd at least pick an iconic spot instead of just my hotel room. I did like the art shops on the second floor. We also visited Soap Plant Wacko, which seemed like an artist's dream. 1mo
